Hi, I'm Retrofuge, the webmaster of this basic website which as mentioned as a dumping ground things that I'm interested. I'm simple guy in my 20s, who has a passion for gaming, anime and particular interests, such science. That my first console being the Sony Playstation 1, or PSX. The reason I created this site essentially for the core reason of getting away from the Web 2.0 side of the internet. Aswell as the escaping from the cultural zeigesit of social media. As it no longer serves it's traditional purpose of promoting content which got me interested in the first place

Being under constant survelliance and under control of social media algothrims of these platform. This made the internet an less fun place for me as an individual to partake in. This was more felt in the shift in online culture as a whole, as things became more inauthentic as time went on. The users of the web, no longer made content for themselves. But made it for social media attention, which can go into very extreme cases sometimes. While, I didn't really grow up as much with Web 1.0. Being an user of Web 2.0 things have changed a lot. Also, with propositions of Web 3.0 around the corner and mass censorship. This site serves as refuge to go back to basics. Also, gives me an excuse to post stuff, which social media really won't be suitable for.
